About the Journal

The International Journal of Indigenous Business (IJIB) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that amplifies Indigenous leadership in business research and practice. All articles are led by an Indigenous first author, and we embrace a strengths-based approach that highlights Indigenous innovation, knowledge, and enterprise.

IJIB welcomes submissions from academics, students, practitioners, and community leaders. With a broad, global scope, the journal showcases the unique perspectives Indigenous peoples bring to business, enriching education, research, and practice worldwide.

Contributions accepted are articles of 5000-8000 words (excluding references). Please note that book or literature reviews are not accepted.

Initially the journal will be published once per year, submissions are tied to either a symposium or Indigenous business conference.
